JC homicide update

On Monday, Sandalio Ingram, who is a person of interest in the Sunday homicide of Keith Mosely 34, Columbia, voluntarily came to the Police Department to speak with Jefferson City Police Detectives. After questioning, Ingram was released pending further investigation.

Information gained over the past day indicates there may be another person of interest. Detectives have interviewed a number of persons with direct knowledge of the event, and continue to follow leads to that end. The identity of this person of interest will not be disclosed at this time until more information is obtained regarding this person's involvement.

Police said more information will be forthcoming throughout the week.

On Sunday, Brandon Chase turned himself in shortly after police announced they were seeking he and Ingram as persons of interest in the killing of Mosely.

Chase is currently being held in the Cole County Jail.

Police said one of the suspects reportedly wore a ski mask during the incident.

Mosely was shot about 12:17 a.m. at 1029-B Buena Vista St. He was taken to St. Mary's Health Center, then flown by LifeFlight helicopter to a Columbia hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
