Boys golf teams in district tournaments Wednesday

The boys golf postseason begins Wednesday with district tournament action around the state.

The Jefferson City Jays will host the Class 4 District 5 Tournament at Meadow Lake Acres Country Club in New Bloomfield.

A total of 10 teams will participate in the event, starting at 8:30 a.m.

The Helias Crusaders are one of three area teams scheduled to play in the Class 3 District 5 Tournament at Marshfield Country Club.

The Eldon Mustangs and School of the Osage Indians are also in the 10-team event, which will begin at 9 a.m.

The Eugene Eagles are the host school in the 10-team Class 2 District 4 Tournament at Redfield Golf Club that begins at 9 a.m.

Other area schools in the tournament include Blair Oaks, California, Eugene, Fatima, South Callaway and Southern Boone.
