New Cole County voter ID cards to be mailed Tuesday

Cole County Clerk Marvin Register said there have been many changes since redistricting in Missouri was done affecting state representatives, county commissioners as well as local wards and precincts.

"We have based the new precinct lines on population and have tried to even out all the precincts," he said. "Doing this causes us to move many voters to new wards and precincts and that will mean they vote in new polling places."

Register asks all registered voters to read their new cards and make sure they are aware of their voting location.

If anyone does not get their voter card by May 10, call the clerk's office at (573) 634-9011.
