Judge puts four on probation

Cole County Presiding Judge Pat Joyce recently placed a Jefferson City woman on five years supervised probation for pleading guilty to charges in connection with a drug bust in December 2011.
Shelle Smith, 29, of 1015 Elizabeth St., was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The judge also placed a Jefferson City man on five years supervised probation for pleading guilty to charges in connection with the theft of construction materials and causing damage at the new Jefferson City Animal Shelter on Hyde Park Drive in December 2011.
Bradley Jacobs, 29, of 1116 Dulle St., was charged with felony stealing and first-degree property damage.
