Calvary-Tolton has struggled in the field most of the season, often giving away extra outs.
That wasn't the case Saturday, as the Lions committed just one error and even turned a slick 6-4-3 double play in defeating the South Callaway JV team 3-2 at Calvary Lutheran Lions Field.
"We played decent defense, we didn't give them anything," Calvary-Tolton coach Rusty Bourg said.
