The National Weather Service reported that at 7:30 a.m. Monday the river was at 22.8 feet.
That's nearly six feet about the flood stage of 17 feet.
Minor flooding is occurring due to the heavy rains that fell this past weekend.
The river is forecast to go below flood stage late Monday evening and continue to fall to around 6.8 feet by Wednesday morning
