Another good day for Lincoln track

ST. LOUIS - The Lincoln University track and field teams racked up numerous top finishes in the inaugural Saint Louis University Invitational held Saturday.

In the men's portion of the event, Lincoln captured four victories.

Things got off to a good start when Lincoln went 1-2-3 in the 100-meter dash, as Aaron Wilmore won (10.81) and was followed by Joshua Manuel (10.90) and Devin Hill (10.91).

The Blue Tigers' other wins came from Terrel Cotton in the 200-meter dash (21.45), Jermaine Blake in the 800-meter run (1:51.12) and Romel Lewis in the 400-meter hurdles (52.59).

On the women's side, Lincoln got a pair of wins, both from Toni-Ann Moore. She took first in both the 100- (12.10) and 200-meter dashes (24.70).
