COLUMBIA, Mo. — There can be a fine line between tradition and progress. As Missouri transitions to the Southeastern Conference, the lines met for the first of likely many times Saturday.

Missouri unveiled its new uniforms during halftime of the Black and Gold Game at Faurot Field. Out with the old, in with the new.

“Every school has their own traditions and their own point of views,” said Todd Van Horne, Nike’s creative director for football. “We respect that tradition, we respect that past, and we really want to merry it up with new traditions and their own point of view.”
