Jays, Lady Jays dominate Capital City Relays

Things couldn’t have gone much better than they did for the Jefferson City track teams Saturday.

The Jays and Lady Jays swept the Capital City Relays at Adkins Stadium.

The Jays won with 147 points, outdistancing second-place East St. Louis who had 117 points. Rock Bridge was third with 107. Fatima finished fifth with 52 points. Helias was 11th with 29 points.

The Lady Jays dominated the girls side with 208 points, more than doubling second-place Hickman (103.83) and third-place Rock Bridge (101.50). Fatima was sixth with 60 points and Helias was ninth with 26 points.
