The Missouri Highway Patrol reports Tiphanie K. Lansford, 23, Jefferson City, was on Heritage Highway attempting to drive across the westbound lanes of U.S. 54 around 8:30 p.m. when she pulled into the path of a car driven by Erin M. Jezierski, 34, Fenton.
After the cars collided, Jezierski's car ran off the roadway and struck a road sign. Lansford's car came to rest in the westbound lanes, where it was then hit by a vehicle driven by Linda A. Hood, 59, Eugene.
The patrol described the injuries of Lansford and Hood as moderate, while Jezierski received minor injuries. An ambulance took Lansford to St. Mary's Health Center. The other two drivers were taken to Capital Region Medical Center.
