Highway improvements are coming.
A historic church is moving — again.
And a residential neighborhood stands in the balance.
The Jefferson City Historic Preservation Commission recently approved one application for a block of six homes to be demolished at the corner of Lafayette and Miller streets.
“These are the sacrificial lambs of this neighborhood,” said Commissioner Jenny Smith at the city’s Historic Preservation Commission meeting this week.
