WARDSVILLE, Mo. — Blair Oaks did a lot of great things during its season-opening nine-game winning streak.
The Falcons did a lot of the opposite during their 7-6 10-inning loss to Fatima on Thursday at the Falcon Athletic Complex.
“We knew it was going to be tough,” Fatima coach Scott Kilgore said. “If it takes 10 innings, it takes 10 innings. That’s the ball game that win or lose, you can take so much from. Two district opponents going at it, two equal, compatible teams going at each other, and we were fortunate enough to get the edge.”
