Due to a steady stream of people in need, Samaritan Center is finding its supplies lower than normal this time of year. Some pantry items are completely exhausted, and others are close behind.
The Samaritan Center is most in need of macaroni and cheese, cereal, peanut butter, tomato products, canned fruit, canned beans, meals in a can, ramen noodles, dry pasta and meals in a box.
The Jefferson City facility, located at 1310 E. McCarty St., is open for donations from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday.
