SEARCY, Ark. - The Missouri S&T Miners captured the title at the Harding Bison Invitational on Saturday.
The Miners racked up 172 points to edge the host school, which had 160.
Adriel Hawkins (Jefferson City High School) finished fifth in the 100-meter dash (11.05) and 200-meter dash (22.29).
On the women's side, Missouri S&T finished second with 147.5 points, well behind Harding's 179.5.
Christine Schmid (South Callaway High School) came in third in the hammer throw (134-8 3/4).
