A Jefferson City man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison in connection with the death of a man who was shot in March 2011 after a confrontation over a woman.
Rondric Hunt, 25, on 312 E. Dunklin St., was charged with shooting a firearm from a vehicle at another vehicle with a person inside, resulting in the death of Cortez Bellamy, 24.
Another Jefferson City resident, Terrell Edwards, 28, is also charged in this case and is scheduled to be in court next week.
A probable cause statement says Edwards and Bellamy were part of a confrontation involving several people after a fight with a woman around 1 a.m. March 12, 2011, at Rumors Nightclub, 710 Madison St.

Rob a Check 'N Go, get a fifteen year sentence. Kill someone and get a ten year sentence. What's wrong with this? Also the one who did the robbery could be out in 120 days. I feel something is wrong here, do you?
