Helias third, Jays fifth in William Woods Invitational

FULTON, Mo. — The Helias Crusaders took third place and the Jefferson City Jays finished in fifth place in the William Woods Invitational on Thursday at Tanglewood Golf Course.

Helias carded a 355 as a team, led by Brett Griggs’ 84, which was good enough for seventh overall. Austin Smith shot an 89, Michael Kehoe finished with a 90 and Josh Smith carded a 92.

Jefferson City shot a 379 as a team, led by Travis Roberts’ 88. David Anderson finished with a 94, Andrew Hansen shot a 95 and Grant Haarmann carded a 102.
