Olivia Hackmann of Helias and Napheesa Collier of Jefferson City were named all-state by the Missouri Sportswriters and Sportscasters Association.

A total of 10 area basketball players captured spots on the all-state teams when the Missouri Sportswriters and Sportscasters released them today.

Helias was the only school with multiple selections, one each from the boys and girls teams.

The Lady Crusaders’ Olivia Hackmann was a Class 4 first-teamer, as the 5-foot-9 senior led Helias (21-8) to a seventh-place finish in the final state rankings. Hackmann, a Southeast Missouri State University recruit, averaged 15.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.0 blocks per contest.

On the boys side, Helias was represented on the Class 4 first team by Deion Hughes.
