Track & Field: Local schools split

Seventh-graders at Thomas Jefferson and Lewis and Clark competed in a dual meet at Lewis and Clark on Thursday.

Thomas Jefferson won the boys meet 77.6 to 45.4. Thomas Jefferson had three double winners. Jackson Schwartz won the 800-meter run and the 1,600-meter run. Evan Fitzmaurie won the long jump and triple jump. Jamey Jones won the shot put and discus. Lewis and Clark had one double-winner in Rashaun Woods, who won the 100-meter dash and the 200-meter dash.

Lewis and Clark won the girls meet 80 to 43. Lewis and Clark had one double-winner in Alaina Allsbury, who won the 800-meter run and the 1,600-meter run.
