WENTZVILLE, Mo. - It was a great day at the track for Jefferson City.
The Lady Jays captured first place and the Jays took second place in the Holt Invitational on Saturday in Wentzville.
The Lady Jays blew away the competition with 97 points, topping the field of 13 teams. Second-place Evanston Township (Ill.) finished with 73 points and Nerinx Hall took third place with 62 points.
The Jays finished second out of nine teams with 122 points, losing out to Cahokia (Ill.) with 133 points. Ladue Horton Watkins took third place with 79 points.
