Mike Sapp: Making sure county residents are safe from nuisances, hazards
Sunday, April 1, 2012
His service to our country as a member of the Air Force, an employee in private industry, a short stint with the Department of Corrections and years of service with the Missouri Capitol Police all led Mike Sapp to his current position with the Cole County Health Department as the code enforcement officer/environmental health program coordinator.
Sapp has served the county for five years as the only officer responding to nuisance calls and complaints.
While Sapp’s main job is to ensure the residents of the county follow nuisance codes, he can also perform environmental health inspections regarding sewer, food and lodging within the county.

We need him to work inside the city limits. Some places in the city are much worse than the county's problems.
