MOKANE — Paxton Welch had a good day in the circle and at the plate Thursday to lead the Helias Lady Crusaders to a 12-2 win in six innings over the South Callaway Lady Bulldogs.

Welch went the distance to get the win, allowing one earned run on four hits. She struck out seven. At the plate, she had four hits and three RBI.
