Coming off a 2-1 loss Tuesday night at Troy, the Lady Jays softball team was certainly looking to get its offense rolling against Southern Boone.

For at least one inning, the Lady Jays did just that.

Jefferson City jumped out to a 7-0 lead after the first inning and rolled to an 8-4 win Wednesday at Lincoln Field.
