Helias faces tough test in talented Rock Bridge

As the second half of the regular season starts Saturday afternoon, the Helias Crusaders are looking for one thing to improve in their final five games — consistency.

“We’ve had a lot of ups and downs,” Helias coach Phil Pitts said as the Crusaders (3-2) prepared to take on the Rock Bridge Bruins (3-2) at 1 p.m. Saturday at Adkins Stadium. “You can attribute that to us being young and inexperienced.

“But we’re not young or inexperienced anymore. We have five games under out belts and everyone is a varsity player.”
