Bob Meyer has watched the progress of the new federal courthouse project through monthly slide-show updates as a commissioner on Missouri State Penitentiary Redevelopment Commission.

"It's great to see the finished product," Meyer said after Tuesday's dedication ceremonies. "It's been a long time coming.

Meyer toured the site long before its completion.

"It's fabulous, state of the art - every last fixture," Meyer said.

Paul Nuernberger, on the other hand, sang with the Show-Me Showboaters before the official commencements began.
