On Saturdays growing up in Detroit, Mich., she discovered her love for learning and particularly math, as her father encouraged extra school instead of sleeping in or part-time jobs for her and her siblings.
Whether working with college students on Lincoln University's campus or with high school dual-credit, calculus students at Lighthouse Preparatory Academy, Stallings uses cooperation and collaboration.
