SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Things couldn't have gone more smooth than they did for the Jefferson City cross country teams Saturday. Both the Jays and Lady Jays brought home first-place finishes at the Richard Clark Invitational in Springfield.
Led by Kent Mastroianni's third-place finish (16:24), the Jays finished with 34 points. Kickapoo was second with 56.
On the girls side, Conradette King finished in second place with a time of 19:11.
