Missouri man killed in Louisiana wreck

HAMMOND, La. (AP) — A Missouri man is dead following a single-vehicle crash in Tangipahoa Parish.

State police say a van traveling south on Interstate 55 drifted into the grass median Saturday at about 10:25 a.m. The van hit a tree and overturned.

Troopers say 46-year-old Winson Tran of Fallon, Mo., died later at a Hammond hospital.

He was wearing a seat belt and troopers say they don't believe Tran was driving impaired.
