Old Town examines plan for South Side

The future of the South Side’s land use was discussed at the Old Town Revitalization Company’s regular meeting Wednesday.

In 2009, a redevelopment plan for the South Side was created by Arcturis. However, city staff found several incongruent pieces in the plan that didn’t suit the neighborhood.

So Eric Barron, city planner, and the planning and protective services department have taken a fresh look at the area and are developing an alternative plan for future planning and zoning purposes.
