Helias preparing for Hickman’s best game

It definitely was an attention-getter last Friday night — Hannibal 10, Hickman 0.

“We really respect Hannibal, we know what kind of football team they have,” Helias coach Phil Pitts said as the Crusaders (2-2, ranked No. 7 in Class 4) prepared to take on the Hickman Kewpies (2-2) on Friday night at Adkins Stadium.

“Maybe Hannibal winning wasn’t a surprise, but getting a shutout was.”
