Weather big winner at Invitational

Linn boys, Helias girls win titles at Fulton

FULTON, Mo. — The three best words to describe Saturday’s Fulton Cross Country Invitational were cold, wet and rainy. That didn’t keep area teams from finding success on the course.

The Linn Wildcats took both top team and individual honors Saturday. The Fatima Comets streaked to a second-place team finish Saturday, with the help of two top-10 finishes.

The Helias Crusaders took fourth. Blair Oaks finished seventh as a team.
