Lincoln faces tough task of keeping NW Missouri from 500th win of program

As if today’s task wasn’t going to be hard enough, now the Lincoln football team finds itself standing in the way of history.

When the Blue Tigers take on the Northwest Missouri State Bearcats at 2 p.m. at Dwight T. Reed Stadium in Jefferson City, they won’t only be facing the nation’s second-ranked team.

They’ll be facing a Northwest Missouri squad looking to become just the 14th team in Division II history to win 500 games.
