LEMONT, Ill. (AP) - Mark Wilson and Justin Rose are tied for the lead going into the weekend at the BMW Championship.
Wilson, who considers Cog Hill a home course after he moved to Chicago, ran off four consecutive birdies around the turn and wound up with a 5-under 66. Rose had a wild finish, making an eagle on the 15th hole to reclaim a share of the lead and finishing with a 68.
They were at 11-under 131 and had a two-shot lead over Webb Simpson, the leader in the FedEx Cup who has won two of his last three tournaments.
John Senden of Australian had a 66 and was three shots behind. No one else was within five of the leaders.
Navistar LPGA Classic
PRATTVILLE, Ala. (AP) - Lexi Thompson shot a 4-under 68 to take the lead after two rounds of the Navistar LPGA Classic.
The 16-year-old is at 10-under 134, two shots ahead of Stacy Lewis and Becky Morgan.
Meena Lee, who came within one shot of tying the course record with an 8-under 64, is third at 7-under 137.
Giulia Sergas, Hee Kyung Seo and first-round leader Jennifer Johnson are tied at 138.
Thompson was a 14-year-old amateur in 2009 when she was tied for the Navistar LPGA Classic lead after two rounds before finishing 27th. She tied for 16th last year as a professional.
