LAKE OF THE OZARKS, Mo. - As the weekend drew near, Lake of the Ozarks saw thousands of bikers ride into town ready for the 2011 Lake of the Ozarks Bikefest.
More than 10,000 motorcycle enthusiasts attended Bikefest last year, and more are expected to thunder into the lake area this year to explore scenic rides, attend free concerts, participate in bike shows and roll through a "passport run" of local eateries and nightspots, said Tim Jacobsen, director of the Lake of the Ozarks Convention & Visitor Bureau.
