Several injured in area accidents

A Gravois Mills woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident at 1:05 p.m. Tuesday on Missouri 135, north of Blueberry Drive, in Morgan County.

The Highway Patrol reported a 1998 Honda Shadow MC, driven northbound by Rebecca J. Ballard, 52, ran off the right side of the road and struck a ditch, overturned, ejecting Ballard.

She was flown to University Hospital in Columbia.

Ballard was wearing a seat belt.

An Eldon woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 5:25 p.m. Tuesday on U.S. 50, west of Route W, in Osage County.

The patrol reported a vehicle driven by Tammy J. Kliethermes, 49, Linn, turned right into a private drive. A 1998 Buick, driven by Jessica L. Willis, 22, Eldon, drove off the right side of the road and collided with the Kliethermes vehicle. After impact, the Willis vehicle struck a tree and overturned.

Willis was taken to St. Mary's Health Center.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts.

A Macks Creek woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident at 5:50 p.m. Tuesday on U.S. 54, east of Route J, in Camden County.

According to the patrol report, a 1998 Dodge, driven by Cricket K. Smith, 23, lost control and struck a guardrail, overturned and came to rest in a ravine.

Smith was taken to Lake Regional Hospital.

She was wearing a seat belt.
