Being an only child, Andrea Benna knows her parents will depend on her for help as they age. And that is OK with her. There is one thing that scares her mother, Carol, though.
"My biggest fear is looking at my daughter, my only child, and not knowing who she is," Carol said.
She is not talking about a memory lapse; Carol is speaking of Alzheimer's and her fear of having the disease after seeing her mother and longtime family friend suffer from the disease.
