Jays happy with scoreless tie against Marquette

A tie? Yuck. A scoreless tie? Double yuck. Or maybe not.

“To me, there’s good ties and there’s bad ties, and I’ll take that tie,” Jays coach Eddie Horn said after Jefferson City played 80 minutes of scoreless soccer against the state-ranked Marquette Mustangs at the 179 Soccer Park. “It was a good result for us.”
