Dear Editor:
As usual the Jefferson City gasoline cartel has gouged the citizens of Jefferson City with manipulating the gas prices to satisfy their greedy appetite.
There was not a good reason for raising the price of gas except the fact that the usage might go up, and usually does, due to the Labor Day holiday. Sure enough, just days prior to the holiday the price was increased substantially, and immediately after, the price was lowered.
Now what does that tell you? We need to purchase our gasoline from the one company who is not involved with the greedy cartel, and that's Hy-Vee. Unfortunately we are limited to competitive options, like we suffer with the utility company, but if we purchase from Hy-Vee we can get a message across to these people, enough is enough with gouging. I hope when their day of reckoning comes, they can explain, and rationalize to the good man about their abusive ways.
