Lady Jays fall to Kickapoo

The Jefferson City Lady Jays dropped a 9-0 decision Thursday to Kickapoo at Washington Park.

The dual opened with the three doubles matches. Molly Higgins and Eden Hoogveld lost 4-8, while Claire Murphy and Kelly Raithel fell 3-8. Blaire Dawdy and Shelby Horn dropped a 6-8 decision.

Falling in singles were Higgins (4-6, 3-6), Murphy (3-6, 1-6); Hoogveld (0-6, 3-6), Dawdy (2-6, 1-6), Raithel (0-6, 6-4 8-10 TB), and Horn (0-6, 4-6).

Jefferson City (5-4) will host Joplin at 10 a.m. Saturday.
