Submarine committee to sell “Reminder Bands”

“Pride runs deep” is a frequently used saying among crews on submarines and soon area residents will be able to purchase bands with that motto to benefit the crew of the USS Jefferson City Submarine.

At the submarine committee meeting Wednesday, members discussed the fund raising efforts through started through the wives auxiliary club and brought to the committee’s attention by Melody Dickson, wife of the submarine commander.
