An Owensville man was killed in a one-vehicle accident at 2:40 p.m. Tuesday on Route EE, south of Missouri 28, in Gasconade County.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, a 2011 Chevrolet, driven northbound by Gary L. Price, 51, passed another vehicle at a high rate of speed, went off the left side of the road and struck two trees.
Price, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at St. John's Mercy Hospital.
A Jefferson City man was injured in a one-vehicle accident at 4 p.m. Tuesday on Route O, south of County Road 102, in Callaway County.
The patrol reported a 2004 Dodge Ram, driven southbound by Stephen R. Vaughan, 50, lost control, skidded, ran off the right side of the road and overturned.
Vaughan was taken to Callaway County Hospital.
He was not wearing a seat belt.
A Fulton teen was injured in a accident at 9:34 a.m., Wednesday, on Route F at County Road 229, in Callaway County.
The patrol reported a 1998 Nissan, driven eastbound by Justin K. Allen, 19, Columbia, swerved to avoid a bicycle ridden eastbound by Caleb A. Seip, 16, of Fulton. The bicycle then swerved into the path of the Allen vehicle. Allen was unable to avoid a collision.
Seib was taken to Callaway County Hospital.
Allen was wearing a seat belt.
