Two Mid-Missouri residents were killed Monday in separate accidents.
A Hermann teen was killed in a two-vehicle accident at 2 p.m. Monday on Missouri 19, south of Porters Road, in Montgomery County.
The Missouri Highway Patrol reported a 1997 Toyota, driven north by Taylor Thompson, 17, Hermann, crossed the center line and struck a 2008 Ford, driven southbound by Gerald J. Vanstrien, 68, Perry, head-on.
Thompson, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the University of Missouri-Columbia Hospital.
Vanstrien was wearing a seat belt.
