Man arrested for DWI after hit-run accident, chase

After a chase early Monday morning, Jefferson City police arrested a driver suspected of a hit and run while drunken driving near the police station.

Police responded to a call about 3:30 a.m. Monday of vehicles being hit in the 600 block of East McCarty Street. Police chased the suspect to the 100 block of East McCarty Street, where he was arrested.
