A truck with an oversized load got stuck under the tri-level in Jefferson City Wednesday afternoon, causing a traffic jam.

Authorities said the load, part of large wind turbine, got stuck around 1 p.m. They had no information as to where the load came from or where it was going to.

The traffic problem was exacerbated when another accident occurred on the bottom level of the tri-level, on eastbound U.S. 50. Authorities said this was a minor accident involving two vehicles and no injuries were reported.

I am disappointed. Earlier this year the News Tribune had an article about these windmill part shipments but now they can't find say where they are coming from? This is an excellent use of available at work resources by the reporter.

Close, but no cigar! Next time use a trailer with the steerable rear axles! Saw one on American Truckers, pretty cool episode.

Built in the mid 60's, this is JC's original roundabout. Way ahead of its time. JC will probably have to live with this joke for another 50 years.
