Jefferson City falls to Republic in Class 4 volleyball playoffs

The Jefferson City Lady Jays had a great run to advance to the state volleyball playoffs. But a handful of mistakes brought an end to that run Saturday afternoon.

“Unfortunately, we picked a bad day for our passing to be not what it has been in the past week,” Jefferson City coach Curt Yaeger said after the Lady Jays dropped a two-game decision to the Republic Lady Tigers in the Class 4 sectionals at Fleming Fieldhouse.
