Jays, Crusaders to start soccer postseason

The Jefferson City Jays and Helias Crusaders will open play in their respective district soccer tournaments today.

The Jays (14-10-1) are the No. 2 seed in the Class 3 District 9 Tournament and will face third-seeded Hickman at 7 p.m. at Rock Bridge.

The Helias Crusaders will face the Marshall Owls in the semifinals of the Class 2 District 11 Tournament at School of the Osage.
