Jeff City volleyball opens districts with win

The Rolla Lady Bulldogs couldn’t string together points Monday night because the Jefferson City Lady Jays wouldn’t let them.

The Lady Jays dominated the Lady Bulldogs in two-games in the opening round of the Class 4 District 10 Tournament at Rackers Fieldhouse.

“We did a very good job of limiting their runs,” Jefferson City coach Curt Yaeger said after the Lady Jays’ 25-13, 25-12 victory.
