WARDSVILLE, Mo. — In district play, sometimes the worst thing a higher seed can do is let a lower seed hang around, get confidence and make a close match out of what should be a blowout.

The Blair Oaks Lady Falcons did none of that Monday night.

The Lady Falcons opened the Class 2 District 7 Tournament by ripping the Montgomery County Lady Wildcats 25-8, 25-7.
