Cross Country: Linn wins Invitational

WESTPHALIA, Mo. -- Kaleb Wilson and Tyler Rush took home top honors to lead Linn to a first-place finish at the Fatima Cross Country Invitational on Saturday.

Linn finished with 51 points, eight ahead of second-place Fatima. Other local teams included California in fourth, Blair Oaks in sixth, Southern Boone in seventh and Chamois in eighth.

Blair Oaks runner Emily Cumpton finished with a time of 20:59 and took first place in the girls race. Cumpton's efforts helped lead Blair Oaks to a second-place finish with 47 points.

Strafford won the event with 43 points. California was third with 73 while Fatima finished fourth with 82 points.
