Two suspects are being held in the Cole County Jail after fleeing the scene of a burglary alarm.
At 10:21 p.m. Friday, Jefferson City police responded to Jim Lewis Tire, 1300 Missouri Blvd., after the alarm company reported entry and the sound of two voices inside the business’ storage area.
Upon arrival, officers saw two suspects fleeing the scene and, after a short foot pursuit, they were arrested.
There were signs of forced entry to the storage area, but no items were reported missing.
