WARDSVILLE, Mo. - Faced with a must-win game after dropping their district opener last week, the Blair Oaks Falcons responded in style Friday night, scoring 16 points on defense while ripping Hermann 51-0 at the Falcon Athletic Complex.
The victory moved the Falcons to 7-2 overall and 1-1 in district play, as they can now clinch a spot in the Class 2 playoffs with a win Thursday at Montgomery County.
"It was just good to see our kids excited about everything," Blair Oaks coach Brad Drehle said. "Hopefully this helps us heal and move us in the right direction, a positive direction."
